Med-Chem Researchers are developing multistep synthesis of precursor molecules/compounds to study structure-activity relationships guided by computer-based drug design and biological testing. It works in an interdisciplinary context that directly influences the discovery of new therapeutics. In addition to traditional synthesis processes, the infrastructure of innovative synthesis approaches has been established in Trustlife Labs Pharmaceutical R&D laboratories.

ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY LABORATORY

The Analytical Unit continues its work with expert teams consisting of Chromatographic Purification, Quantification, and Characterization teams. The purification, characterization, impurity analysis, method development, and application steps for newly synthesized innovative compounds are carried out for ADME processes.

Chromatographic Purification and Quantification

• Development of molecule-specific purification and quantification methods based on Flash Chromatography, Prep-HPLC, HPLC, and LC-MSMS.
• Purification of chiral or achiral molecules in the milligram scale with over 95% purity.

ADME

• Determination of physicochemical properties (Kinetic Solubility and Lipophilicity-LogD analyses).
• Determination of chemical stability (Stability analyses in media, SGF, and SIF).
• Analysis in drug absorption studies (Quantification and characterization in PAMPA and Caco-2 cell experimental samples).
• Protein/Tissue binding analysis (plasma, blood, brain, kidney, lung, liver microsomes, and hepatocytes).
• Metabolic stability and identification (Microsome/hepatocyte metabolic stability analyses, identification of metabolite profiles, and plasma stability analyses).
• Determination of drug-drug interactions (CYP induction/inhibition analyses).
• Analysis of in-vivo PK/PD samples (Determination of pharmacokinetic parameters, tissue distribution, total/free drug quantification, metabolite quantification).
