Visit of Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu to Trustlife
Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu, together with TÜSEB President Prof. Dr. Ümit Kervan and Istanbul Provincial Health Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Emre Güner, visited Trustlife’s R&D laboratories in Ataşehir, Istanbul, and received information on the ongoing domestic, national, and innovative drug research projects.
During the meeting, Trustlife management provided details on innovative drug development projects aimed at various cancers as well as chronic and neurodegenerative diseases, which have successfully completed preclinical studies and are preparing to enter clinical trials. It was shared that Phase I applications for 5 molecules within the organization have been completed, with the goal of concluding clinical studies by 2026. In addition, Trustlife presented its plan to introduce CAR-T cell therapy—brought to Türkiye through international collaborations—which is expected to be made available to patients in 2026. This initiative aims to ensure that hematologic cancer patients can access innovative treatments without the need to travel abroad.
Following the meeting, Minister Prof. Dr. Memişoğlu met with the R&D teams, received information about their work, and posed for a commemorative photograph.
